Supernatural Faith During Troubling Times
Jesus taught the disciples and others to activate supernatural faith during troubling times. Moving further into May we realize COVID-19 is still living in our space. Where there is faith, there is always hope. The world struggles with avoiding and managing a virus that moves rapidly. To maintain any sense of normalcy and avoid mental challenge, we must turn to that supernatural faith God provides.
During times where there is panic and fear, we must cling to what we know. What we know is that practicing and understanding faith leads to victory and peace. Faith carries us through the storm because that is how God designed it. We all have faith because that is how God designed us. We always put faith in things we have never seen. To be honest, just about everything we do has some form of faith attached to it. For instance, we don’t think twice about the glass holding the water we drink. Your faith is real when you naturally assume that the food you ordered was prepared to your taste. Yes, we are full of a certain kind of faith, but how often do we use the faith from God?
What is Supernatural Faith?
Faith from God is trust that we never have to doubt or question. It is without any underlying fears or uncertainty. Hebrew 11:1 reads, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” We have not seen God, but we know He is there. We have not seen Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, but we experience their presence. So, believers have a faith that is solid and verified. It is REAL. Therefore, as believers we are equipped substantially strong in our faith.
A strong faith carries a real trust and conviction that we can use in our lives with certainty that God will see us through. Hope opens the well of positive assurance of our faith and we possess the ability to walk in it. When you think about it, that kind of assurance is not really natural. It is not something we instinctively know to do. It is there because God put it there. So, we have the kind of faith that can move mountains—if we activate it, and believe. This is evident in Matthew 17:20. A tiny bit of faith is larger than any mountain of fear.
You Can Move Mountains
We need supernatural faith during troubling times. That is why God gave it to us. All we must do is understand what it is, know that we have it, and know how to use it. Therefore, as we continue on as believers of God and His mighty power, keep the faith. Show God you believe Him when he says you can move mountains because you can. Even with COVID-19.
